Monday Movement

Body, Breath and Yoga Nidra - Monday Afternoons

     ondays just got a little sweeter: there's a gentle, soothing class with Olga Chwa!

 

Monday Movement is for you if you are stiff and achy in your body, have tired eyes (including zoom fatigue) and need a moment to just focus on yourself.

Keep your video off or on - up to you; listening is all you need to follow these practices and teachings.

This zoom experience begins with a moment of gathering together and checking in (as needed), while folks arrive and settle. Bring your blankets and cushions; get cozy.

 

Please mute, check your sound levels and settle in.

The zoom room opens at 4:30 pm EST (1:30 pm PST, 21:30 BST).

Once we are gathered, about 4:40/4:45 pm, Olga leads a settling and follows with a sequence of invitational stretches.
 

There is no right or wrong way to move your body, when you are mindful. The game is to pay attention, and give the body what it loves. Explore. Feel. Listen. Do as little or as much as you want to.

What does your body need...today?

After 45 minutes of well-rounded movements, we settle and dive into a breath practice - the true source of your energy.

We close our time together with a yoga nidra, 20 or so minutes long. Nourishing, soothing, regenerative and inspiring. Make this time as delicious as possible.

4:30pm EST: Zoom Room Opens

Greetings, settling and check-in;

4:40pm EST: Invitational explorations in movement and stretches - offered with modifications;

5:25pm EST: Breath Exercise;

5:35pm EST: Yoga Nidra Guided Rest;

5:55pm EST: Closing & end.

Arrive at for any piece or part - pop in, sneak out. Just please remember to mute!

This class is pay as you go, or per month. First time participants are welcome for free. Ongoing, $10 - $20 per session or $45-81/month.
